The perfect setting for a couple to enjoy their romantic getaway in the tranquil Snowy Mountains, this well-appointed studio apartment is attached to Pender Lea Cottage, it has its own private entrance and is completely self-contained.

The layout is open plan yet cosy, with timber-lined walls, slate floors and traditional timber furnishings. This is the ideal base to explore the natural beauty of the surrounding area.

With winter comes the snow and skiing and snowboarding enthusiasts can be quickly on the slopes at Thredbo or Perisher. Perhaps you might like to catch the Skitube which is a Swiss cog railway that will transport you to Perisher in 10 minutes where you can try Snowtubing - great fun for all ages
We have onsite horse riding with Thredbo Valley Horse Riding right here at Pender Lea where there is 2800 acres of magnificent bush country which joins on to Kosciuszko National Park .
For our trout fishing fans you can access the secluded areas of the Thredbo River with a 4 wheel drive that has low range and fish in private seclusion.
Our area has now become well known for its excellent mountain biking opportunities with many magic areas to ride and competitions staged throughout the Summer months
There are a variety restaurants catering for most tastes within a short driving distance from Pender Lea, the town and Lake Jindabyne is just a 10 minute drive and Thredbo just 15 minutes.

Summary: We stayed for two nights here with our little dog. The studio was great and so warm. It was so nice sitting in the warm studio and looking out over the frosty farm morning. It was a great location between Thredbo and Jindabyne and easy to find. It offered all the amenities we required and was a very comfortable stay. Thank you for having us!!

Summary: We loved our experience there. We took our two dogs with us and everything a couple need was there. We stayed in the Studio, which is fine and clean, for us, an older couple who get on well😂 Great place to see lots of wildlife if you like getting up early or staying up late! Jindabyne about 15 mins down the road lots of places have outside eating if you have dogs. Recommend ELa messa in Gippsland st. You can leave your dog in an insulated enclosure at the property if you can’t take them out. Highly recommend!
