Positive: The staff were very friendly and helpfull. The hotel was not busy so the restaurant was not open but we were recommended a lovely restaurant a short walk away. We stayed in a villa at the rear of the hotel which was very close to the outdoor swimming pool - it was lovely. The breakfast was superb.

Negative: The hotel it self is lovely location not great in back street and being disabled it was hard work due to hills Think also needs to be made clear on booking about swimming hat or they should be provided free for pools so we did not use was also disappointed restaurant shut for stay staff were extremely excellent tho

Positive: This hotel was well located with garage a 5 minute walk. Beautiful boutique hotel with comfortable bar space and spa facilities. Staff very attentive and friendly, breakfast fresh and plentiful.

Negative: The bed had a very hard mattress and I required a duvet to give some padding.. also the bed base of wood creaked with every move..disappointing given the finish and attention to detail in this four star hotel. We would certainly return and hope the beds are upgraded meantime.. thanks to the hotel for a lovely few days.
