Positive: The location was nice, just a short walk to the beach and the view from the deck and living room were wonderful.

Negative: The place was dirty, we found blood stains on the master bedroom sheets and mattress pad, dog hair on everything and the towels and throw rugs were stained and dirty, and the master bath shower curtain was moldy. Also, the second bedroom bed was supper soft and our family member woke up with a sore back.

Summary: Not what we paid for.

Positive: The new kitchen appliances were a great improvement. It was easy to prepare and cook meals. The view as always was amazing. The locations is very quiet and peaceful; you can easily hear the ocean waves.

Negative: The wall heater by the bathroom should be removed or replaced. It's nice to have a heater that blows some air instead of just the floor board heaters.

Summary: Quiet and peaceful stay with well equipped kitchen.

Positive: We've been coming here for a few years... pretty much twice a year ... so cozy and comfortable! It's our favorite place on the coast! Bringing logs for the woodstove is a must! There's a view of the ocean because the beach is right across the street. It's very easy access as it's pretty much flat to the water. The wifi works great, so streaming TV and movies is really great! Beds comfy and water pressure is really good. Also, they let pups stay here!

Negative: They updated the kitchen... It's not the same charming vibe as the rest of the house. the fridge works, but the door shelf fell off as soon as i tried to use it. The oven is smaller and also an airfryer. Neat, but I really didn't like using it. The microwave is not installed properly, so make sure you hang onto the shelf its on when you open it. It's also very loud when you open, close it and running. (There's no sneaking popcorn at night or heating up water in the morning without being a jerk.) They took away the guest book... I was looking forward to reading it again. My husband says the second bathroom (off the bedroom) smells like pee... I can't smell because of allergies, but he kept the window open while we were there... it feels like the owners stepped away and gave it to vacasa. It's not the same. I feel like they should have put more effort into updating the main bathroom. Also, could you please put more than one sponge or maybe some dish rags to rinse dishes before you wash them? We will still be back in a few months... unless we're now blacklisted!!?? 😀
