(Queen of the Southern Gold Mines) the property on 3 private acres consists of a 3bd room, 2 bath 2,400 sq. ft. house with a swimming pool, spa with fireplace and a separate fire pit for outside enjoyment day or night. The house can accommodate up to eight guests and includes a family room, open living, kitchen and dining room with spacious outdoor porches with views of the surrounding property. The master bedroom contains a California King bed, second bedroom has one Queen bed and the third bedroom has a Queen and two Double beds. Washer and dryer in laundry area adjacent to kitchen. Pathways leading to multiple established gardens surround the house. Wifi provided.. Multiple dining locations within 15 min drive. Nearby attractions include Yosemite Park (90 min), Columbia Historic Gold State Park (20 min), Railtown Historic State Park (20 min), Pinecrest Lake (40 min), Dodge Ridge Ski Resort (45 min), Murphy’s Wineries (35 min), Natural Bridges, Moaning Caverns and Zipline (25 min), Black Oak Casino (15 min.), Kenney Meadows (60 min), Melones Lake, Don Pedro Lake, and Tulloch Lake all within 30 min. drive. Owner lives in cottage adjacent to main house and is available to assist guests during their stay. Summary: The house is just as advertised, very beautiful and in a great location. We spent one day at close by Dodge Ridge and one day just at the house and on the property. It’s quiet and peaceful! Barry was available to answer a couple of questions that we had. We were happy with our stay!

Summary: This home is so special! I've never stayed in a home with such unique architecture and landscaping. Winding natural walking paths with places to rest on garden chairs along the way. A rock pool and spa with a bridge path over it. The interior was gorgeous too. The sun sitting area with books to read while drinking your morning coffee among the greenery, was our favorite spot. Everything we needed to utilize the space was provided...towels, kitchen items, toiletries, seasonings, coffee/tea, etc. Abundant pillows & blankets. Perfect for out 2-family group to enjoy a relaxing New Years. Plenty of shopping right down the street but far enough away to feel like you are in your own forest. Barry, the host, was nearby or available by telephone whenever needed. He was extremely kind and helpful but gave room for privacy the whole time. We just had a really great time here. Thank you for your hospitality, Barry!

Summary: The house was great. Enough room for all of us to spread out. We enjoyed the house and the hot tub. It was stocked with most things. They even got the little details right. Some of the towels were dirty but we just washed them. Overall a relaxing place to stay close to snow fire s relaxing getaway.

Summary: Our stay at *Pearl in the California Mother Lode* in Sonora, was an unforgettable experience. The property exceeded our expectations and was exactly as described in the listing. The home is fully furnished with everything you could possibly need – I packed way too much! From linens and toiletries to kitchen appliances, serving utensils, and platters, this home truly had it all. The location was perfect, secluded and peaceful, with visits from wild turkeys and the delightful sounds of frogs in the evening. The swimming pool and hot tub were amazing, and we spent most of our time lounging by the pool, playing board games, and enjoying the thoughtfully arranged seating areas around the property. Despite the secluded feel, the property is still conveniently close to stores, restaurants, sightseeing spots, and lakes, offering the best of both worlds. The owner, Barry, was a wonderful host – incredibly helpful and genuinely invested in making sure we had the best stay possible. We also had the pleasure of meeting his adorable Cat, Dog, who added to the charm of the experience. Our family takes an annual getaway every Labor Day weekend, and we will definitely be returning to *Pearl and the California Mother Lode* for future stays. Summary: Barry met us when we arrived to show us around. The house is was well equipped to handle our family of 5 adults and 3 children. Kitchen is very large and well stocked. Beds were all comfortable. We loved all the upgrades to the home. There are wood burning stoves or fire pits inside and out and an outside rock fireplace by the spa. This is a very special home with to much to write in this review. Highly recommend this home for rent as a retreat or family time. Absolutely lovely.
