The Neighborhood:
Although we are located in the heart of Oakhurst, we have lots of wild life such as variety of birds, squirrels, bunnies, deer, foxes,.... They like to come out on sunset hour, and use our empty yard as a path. Enjoy a nice evening with pretty sky, have some tea at our outdoor table, and hopefully you will see some cool animal crossing.
At night, if you enjoy the sound of crickets and night birds, feel free to open the windows, specially on cooler days (Although you might get some traffic noises, sine we are right off a main road, mostly in the mornings).
Getting Around:
We are within walking distance of the entire town of Oakhurst.
Public Transportation stops at our street. There's also a trolley that works on the weekends.
Oakhurst, sadly, isn't the most walking-friendly town, however you can walk almost everywhere, specially from this location.
Parking is easy around here as well (with the exception of Bass Lake area).
Other Things to Note:
We provide high speed internet, but being in the mountains, service can sometimes be disconnected, typically only for a few minutes.
The driveway is shared parking with the other unit, and the driveway itself is a bit steep, which can be hard to navigate.
We have instant hot water from a well on site, but the pump can sometimes make noise that can be heard from within the rental.

Summary: It was our first time visiting Yosemite, so the location of this property is great. The accommodations couldn’t have been better. The house was very clean, tastefully, and simply decorated, and very comfortable. We did a lot of hiking, and it was a perfect place to come back to to recharge. I can’t wait to book another trip here.

Summary: This gem in Oakhurst was exactly what my husband and I needed for a weekend in Yosemite. After a hot day of hiking we were glad to return to well air-conditioned, comfortable accommodations. We loved the kitchenette space for a quick cup of coffee before heading to the park and the mini fridge was perfect storage for our provisions for the weekend. Check in and out was quick and easy and Mandy and Ryan provided helpful instructions to make our stay as seamless as possible. The only drawback we could think of was the 80 min drive to get to/from Yosemite Valley but otherwise this little bungalow was perfect!

Summary: The property was super nice and clean and we loved that they were thoughtful enough to leave sanitary pads pop tarts and purified water around and it smelled really good too!! It was close to everything so no need to Drive far either which is a huge plus :) I thought when booking how cool their dog regulations and fees were they even left dog bowls and blanket there for the doggies. My only tip for those booking is to be careful with the lattice gate the string comes off so it can be a little tricky sometimes when closing or opening the gate so if u have dogs be sure that the gate is really closed and don’t assume it is but otherwise wonderful place to stay and we all had a great time and would love to stay here again
