Positive: Great barn conversion, spacious with warm decor. All the facilities we needed. No showers, but lovely bath tubs.

Negative: Arranged for extra towels and a camp bed which wasn't provided. Struggled to reach letting agent and issue not resolved. Did not impair our stay at all, but still...

Positive: The cottage was really beautiful. It had real character and it felt like a home (not sterile like some holiday lets can be). There was interesting art, books, candles and a lovely open fire. We really enjoyed it and would love to return.

Negative: The only problem we had was the bins (outside) which were already overflowing when we arrived. When we tried to take them out on bin day, we were told they were too full to be collected. It wasn't a great look arriving and I'm sure it doesn't go down well with the neighbours either.

Positive: Loved the property with all its different decor, always something new to look at.

Negative: The only thing I felt was missing was a proper walk-in shower, just for those times when you want a quick wash or have just got wet.

Positive: Quirky, borderline eccentricly furnished barn conversion but done in high quality, lots of smart details, much better bathrooms than you would normally expect in this kind of old property. Comfortable, spacious, and warm. Big book collection, if you get past the availability of Netflix (kids obviously delighted).

Negative: It would be nice to have a microwave in the kitchen.
