Summary: After we arrived, we thought we had made a good choice. This was much better than the place we stayed the last time we visited our son and his family, a hotel in downtown Elizabeth City. We enjoyed the cleanliness of the house and the quiet of the area. The hostess was very accommodating, except she wouldn't let us wash the towels, wash clothes, and sheets, before we left. We like to leave places cleaner than we find them. This was hard to do here. We had planned to stay alone, but we hadn't been able to spend much time, with our grandson, in several years. He spent a day and night with us and complimented the house and the area many times. We do have two suggestions. How about considering installing small, point of use water heaters, in the 2 full bathrooms? The water took a long, long time to get warm enough for a shower. Handrails, on the front steps, would be helpful, too. We plan to stay here again, probably later this year.

Summary: We were looking for something in Elizabeth City for our mini family reunion. This was a great location for us. Just as described in listing. Shower in Jack and Jill bathroom needs to be looked at. It didn’t drain well. Overall a good weekend.
