2 Bedroom Cottage in Beddington

Clean, cottage with 260 ft of waterfront, 2 full bedrooms with a loft that has a queen size bed. Spacious country atmosphere, has a Wood stove with a back-up propane furnace,. Our cottage has all the comforts of camp life. Easy access from route 9. This cottage is 2.5 miles off of route 9 (Down East). You can travel to Bar Harbor in an hour 30 min, as well as other towns such as Bangor, and Ellsworth. Our place offers clean swimming, fishing, boating, kayaking and summer activities. On summer nights the loons and owls called you for a song or two. This cottage is located on the east side of Beddington Lake. The Loons and owls will call you out for evening for an evening song. You might see moose roaming around in the back country. CHECK IN IS ON SUNDAY’S AT 3PM AND CHECK OUT IS ON SATURDAY’S AT 2PM.

This cottage is located on the East side of Beddington Lake. There’s a West side as well. Our road is located after you cross over the Narraguasett River on Rte 9, first right. We specify this because GPS sometimes lead people to the West side.

Summary: We so enjoyed our time at this cozy camp on Beddington Lake! If you are seeking a place to unwind and get away from it all this place is for you! The cabin has all that anyone needs inside, including comfortable beds. It is decorated tastefully and is fully equipped. This is a secluded property with a 30 minute drive to a grocery store. We loved being on the lake, reading and kyaking and we went on a few day trips to Acadia and Milbridge and enjoyed sea kyaking off of the west coast of Acadia. Returning to our beautiful and quiet lakefront was wonderful! We recommend this beautiful Maine camp!

Summary: Lovely camp on a quiet lake. The views from the camp were pretty. Lots of videos to watch if the weather is poor and many family games also provided.

Summary: This is a beautiful property, both inside and out.The owners patiently answered all of my questions as we prepared for the trip and it is evident that they take great care of the cottage. This was the perfect vacation for our family. The swimming was great! We were in easy driving distance of both McClellan Park and Quoddy Head Lighthouse. This was definitely a memorable trip!

Summary: The camp was lovely with nice outdoor spaces - especially the porch off the downstairs bedroom. We most enjoyed paddling around the entire lake, stopping on islands and taking a paddle out to see the sunset.

Summary: Beddington Lake and the peaceful beauty that surrounds it were just what we wanted for our July getaway. The area is far enough to be away from it all but still within a short drive to what you may need. We enjoyed the call of the loons in the morning, kayaking the lake by day followed by the multitude of stars by the fire at night. A true escape from it all!
