Positive: Great location, wonderfully decorated, comfortable beds, 2 bathrooms, shower and bath tub, and laundry machine. Was an excellent place to stay!! My husband even did some fishing, was so neat to have a deck out back.

Negative: No negatives, we had a wonderful trip and were so happy to have a great place to sleep each night. With 4 kids it’s great to have 5 beds available and able to do laundry after a visit at the beach.

Summary: Great place to stay, will be your new favorite!

Positive: It was very peaceful and relaxing! Super clean and beautiful! Great get away with the family! We had a starfish hang out with us on the lower level of the dock! Super awesome! And the bay being as close as it was was so awsome and peaceful!

Negative: Well there was a bad bored on the deck that my friend broke through. He is fine just banged up his leg. I did email them about it and they were super apologetic! and the master bed was a bit hard for my liking but my husband didn't mind it. Other than that it was an amazing stay would absolutely book here again!

Positive: Great location especially if you have a boat or kayak. Beach and trails across the street. Close to Eureka and Fortuna for services such as restaurants, etc. Interior of the house was modernized and had cute decorating and comfortable bed. The exterior was set up for fish cleaning and there was a dock on the slough for water sports. Little cool for sitting on the deck, but there was an enclosed sun room, which was warm and nice. It was easy to get in the house with the keypad system. Kitchen was roomy and well appointed. Deck had large table and chairs looking over the slough. Very pleasant.

Negative: The gate needs to be replaced or updated so it is easier to open and close when you are coming and going. But it is manageable. The exterior needs some work due to age but was perfectly acceptable to us. The neighborhood is older and in the middle of gentrification, so there is a mix of run-down and newer homes, some appear to have permanent residents and others rentals or summer homes. The location next to trails, beach and other amenities makes up for the mixed neighborhood in our minds.

Summary: We had a lovely time. You can tell the owners worked hard to make it pleasant and light.

Positive: The walk to king salmon beach was short and the neighborhood was really quiet.

Negative: Only thing I would say is the mattress in the master was too firm for my liking. Everything else was great.
