Summary: I have stayed at several 5 star hotels in Bangkok and the Pathumwan Princess Hotel is by far the best value for money. It is well situated for travel, close to the BTS and only a few stops from the MRT. It is linked to the MBK centre for some great shopping and restaurants. The room is a good size and very clean. The hotel has an excellent swimming pool, gym and Jacuzzi. The breakfast is great and also provides an excellent evening buffet at the weekend. This was my third trip to the hotel and I will definitely be back.

Summary: We stayed 4 nights in the suite as we wanted the comfort. Almost every aspect of our stay was excellent, except for the fwlg 2 areas: 1) The bed was too soft and same as the pillow. Even after picking the pillows from the menu, they were still too soft. As for the bed, it was very uncomfortably soft and because of that we did not have proper sleep for the 4 nights. 2) We had been staying in Pathumwan Princess every year for more than 10 years. Never put forth any request except for this last trip because for the first time our flight was at 6.00pm. We requested for a late check out at 3.00pm but was turned down by the front office manager despite appealing. Very sad as the manager was very inflexible.

Summary: The hotel location was fantastic and the hotel facilities were perfect. Being right next to a shopping mall was great for getting something to eat. The bedroom was very comfy and clean, with very good showers.

Summary: As always I love staying at the Princess. Check-in is exempary and I love the welcome drink. The Princess is central and has a fantastic pool which I can train in and is the main reason I stay here.The gym is fantastic and the staff are always helpful and courteous. There is great shopping in the MBK complex and easy access to the Skytrain. As Arnie said "I'll be back".

Summary: We booked a suite for our family and really enjoyed our stay. The room was spacious, newly renovated, and the king-size bed was huge and super comfy — we loved it! Staff were friendly and helpful. The location is excellent — the first floor connects to an older mall and it’s just a short walk to Siam Paragon and other big shopping centers. Some areas could be improved: the gym is quite outdated, the breakfast buffet didn’t have many options (we’ve had better at cheaper hotels), and the elevators were a bit slow. Overall, a great stay with a comfy room and amazing location!

Summary: I’ve stayed at Pathumwan Princess Hotel multiple times over the years, mainly because of its unbeatable location—right next to MBK, BTS, and other major shopping complexes. It’s incredibly convenient, especially for a quick shopping trip before heading home. The front desk staff were polite but not particularly helpful beyond the basics. Housekeeping, on the other hand, were consistently warm and welcoming, and their attentiveness made a positive impression. We stayed in a one-bedroom executive suite, which was spacious and clean. However, the built-in night light couldn’t be turned off and kept waking me up—I had to cover it with a cushion. We also had a maintenance issue with a ceiling leak in the bathroom around midnight. While technicians were sent quickly and resolved it within 30 minutes, there was no follow-up afterwards. The lifts were frustratingly slow—on one occasion, I waited five minutes just to get downstairs. The breakfast buffet had a good range of options but was very crowded and noisy. I’d recommend booking a room with executive lounge access if you prefer a quieter experience. Unfortunately, the service there was below expectations—I had to wait 20 minutes for someone to bring a menu and follow up on a simple drink order. I used to be a loyal guest here, but after trying other similarly priced hotels with better overall service, I won’t be returning. For the premium price, the experience just doesn’t match anymore.
