Positive: Lovely hotel, very clean, excellent and helpful staff in all respects. We stayed there with friends as we were all part of a wedding party at a local venue. I have stayed here a few times and will book again as near family. Great food in the Pastures pub other side of the car park.
Negative: Triple room , 17, was most accessible for me & my disabled brother (stroke). However the room was very hot and friends & I were unable to open the window which seemed to be sealed. This has been noted on Reception in room issues book to be looked at . Found out from our friends that their rooms were all issued with stand up fans ( but they also had windows they could fully open) Hopefully this will be addressed for next occupants. (Night reception lady went over and above call of duty as there were no spare fans and gave me her own personal hand held fan !) Buffet breakfasts were good but more attention by catering staff to refill empty bacon/ sausage , egg trays etc. We should not have to ask or go chasing staff (who did rectify this). I was unable , as many , to successfully use the machine to make the hot water work for tea and had to wait till I got back to my room.
Summary: Lovely hotel, will definitely stay here again

Negative: Breakfast menu items very limited, 9am on a Sunday morning and had to keep waiting for hot breakfast items to be replinished, wasnt busy either so wasnt quite sure why this was. No sausages left so was substituted with awful looking vegan ones. No white bread left. No plates, glasses, milk or water out had to ask for these also was met by a huff and an eye roll from female member of staff. More interested in chatting to front of house than serving customers Beds hard, pillows thin to the point of paper. Shower either scalding or freezing.

Negative: Unable to adjust the shower from scalding hot due to defective adjustment stop button. Receptionists dismissive attitude was beyond annoying.
