Positive: We loved everything about this place! Beautiful location with views we couldn’t believe. The apartment was even nicer than the pictures- the floor to ceiling windows around the kitchen table are so fantastic when it’s a bit chilly outside. Excellent communication, our host Teresa was super helpful with recommendations for restaurants and the area in general. Having fresh croissants delivered in the morning was such a treat! Our only regret is that we didn’t stay long enough!

Positive: Very thoughtful and helpful host, nice facilities with good quality furniture and comfortable bed. Clean and tidy. Very nice that the host made us find some sweets and coffee every day.

Negative: Nothing. But be aware of the steep way up the village to reach the room.

Positive: So beautiful!! Nicely put together. Very comfortable. Nice bathroom and outside sitting area.

Negative: We were well warned about the walk up the hill and where the parking was in relationship to the place so we were prepared. Once there all was really wonderful. Views amazing, great one night stop!!

Summary: Wonderful spot, amazing hikes and some nice food at the Dolimiti Hotel in town

Positive: Location and views were superb. Host was very welcoming.

Negative: Unfortunately the aircon did not work meaning this property was the worst sleep of our 10-day southern Italy tour. We did not realise until late in the day so the host did not have an opportunity to resolve. Ensure aircon works when checking in to avoid problem in the future.

Positive: I loved the location and though we didn't meet the owner, she was very nice and communicative and I never saw better directions!

Negative: If you have heavy luggage, it is a long walk up, but it can't be helped.

Positive: Stunning place, absolutely beautiful. Hard to reach, not suitable if you struggle with walking and steps. However once reached is beautiful. Unfortunately we had a tree in front of our room obstructing the view. The actual apartment was perfect.

Positive: Amazing views from the balcony and loved the nice big terrasse to have breakfast, have a drink, etc. The unit was impeccably clean. The host provides their recommendations for where to eat / what to do in Castelmezzano and it was very useful. Very comfortable and very generous breakfast!

Negative: It is on the edge of the town, so you must be ready to walk some steps and stairs. Keep in mind if you have mobility issues. But it’s like 10 mins. Also best if you have WhatsApp to communicate with the host as there are instructions to follow (for parking & meetup to be shown the unit).

Summary: Highly recommend for wonderful stay in Castelmezzano!
