Positive: All very homey and spotlessly clean. The host clearly takes pride in the cottage which was easy to warm up. It was extremely cold outside with extreme winds the next day. We walked in to find a basket of lovely things to eat including a fresh, home-made sponge cake. We were close to Stokesley for groceries and the moors for a few scenic trips to friends. The pub called The Bay Horse is always very good.

Positive: Lovely location, quiet spot. A lovely little cottage with a well fitted out kitchen. It was a pleasure to stay here on our self-catering stay. Very comfy bed. Lots of unexpected extras which made the stay that much more memorable.

Positive: Everything about the cottage is lovely. The interior is thoughtfully laid out. The furniture, fixtures and fittings are nice quality and the kitchen equipment includes absolutely everything you need. We were given a generous welcome pack which included a delicious home made cake, treats and essentials. There was a full basket of logs and kindling and the stove was laid ready to light. This really did make us feel welcome. Thank you.

Negative: There is nothing not to like! Everything is great. One very minor thing, we stayed during some very cold weather with snow and ice on the ground. The solid floor downstairs is cold even when the fire is on. But the weather was exceptional and if you wear slippers you would hardly notice.
