Positive: The hotel is truly charming, even a bit mysterious. The premium room I booked was spacious, bright, and the bed was comfortable. Having breakfast at a terrace is a plus.

Negative: One downside was the lack of a night light, especially in the bathroom, which only had a one-touch full-light function, with no zones. The service was average, meeting German hotel standards. This meant that requesting pillow option or a turndown service was too luxury. I didn't even see a bellhop, let alone a concierge.

Summary: Overall it's a good Germany standard 4-star hotel

Positive: Very friendly staff. Wonderful location. But for me, the pool and sauna were fabulous. Breakfast was excellent.

Negative: The rooms were a little airless, a bit stuffy. When opening the window, we were met with the noise of the aircon system

Positive: -Extraordinarily friendly staff who spoil the guests. -Amazing free Spa. -Fabulous breakfast. -Beautiful hotel. My colleague and I stayed in this fabulous hotel for 4 nights. We asked for a nice view, they happily gave us a nice garden view room. We asked for a devided bill, they happily provide that for us. We kept the window open in the evening and there were some insects inside the room, they happily cleaned them for us. Every night they kept the Spa open one more hour for us. I couldn't imagine that a hotel can make us that much happy and turn our business trip into a pleasant vacation!

Positive: Staff was very warm and helpful in advising on where to eat and things to do. For a higher end hotel that is not in the very top tier, it was excellent value for money. I felt very well treated there.

Negative: Nothing that bothered me.

Negative: Massage - if you ask for a firm massage you should not be told you cannot have it. Card should be taken at reception for extras. A real pain to have to pay every time you did something. Also the diner menu these were no choices and not advertise as such,

Positive: Good food, helpful staff, very comfortable room. The location is fairly close to the centre of town and an easy walk.

Negative: We really couldn't fault the hotel as a whole. The only disappointment was the parking. We booked this hotel because it advertises itself with parking, however when we arrived we were advised that the carpark was full and we had to park in a public carpark, which was nearby. It would have been nice to know before we arrived.
