Positive: Perfect location. Right opposite a beautiful park. Perfect for long dog walks. The cottage was spotlessly clean with all the facilities you could need. Bed was super comfy.

Positive: A lovely, cosy cottage, that's about a ten minute walk from the train station. Good amenities, has a shop & a takeaway on the same road. Plus it's not far from the town centre. Host is very nice & has good communication. Also the host had kindly left tea, coffee, milk & a cake for arrival, which was much appreciated after a long journey. This was an excellent base for hikes around the area, and I really enjoyed my stay. I don't have pets but it's worth noting for others that this property is dog friendly, so if you have four legged friends this would be a bonus as they are also welcome. Would definitely return here.

Positive: The hosts left things we would need during our stay, such as washing up liquid, towels and even spare poo bags. There was also a bottle of wine and a packet of biscuits waiting for us, which was much appreciated after a long drive.

Negative: The road noise outside was louder than expected as we didn’t realise the cottage was on a main road.

Summary: The cottage was home from home and myself and my daughter enjoyed our stay.
