Positive: Great property. Spacious, clean and comfortable.

Negative: I was there working and Wi-Fi was very slow and kept dropping out - I assume due to rural location?. This was an issue for me, but overall the stay was excellent. Side note, and NOTHING related to the property, the road from the A5 was in really bad condition. My car kept bottoming out on the road - some high performance cars (e.g. visiting Silverstone) might not even be able to drive down it.

Positive: The property was clean and cosy and the kitchen was well equipped if you wanted to cook during the stay. The location itself was quiet . It was very private and the host left me to my own devices.

Negative: I was expecting an a stand alone annexe but the rooms were built on to and above a double garage which was well used by the owners and very close to the house. The close proximity of the building to the main property meant that the view from the sitting room was of a back door and a wall. There was no view from the bedroom which is above the garage and has tiny windows. There is a large garden to rear of the property , which you can look at through the French doors , which were locked , with guests not allowed to open the doors and a sign to inform you that there is no access to the garden due to "dogs, chickens and children roaming free." During my stay there was no noise issues from the dogs, children or chickens, but if it had not been the middle of winter I would expect this might be different , and it would be very disappointing to be unable to open the French doors and sit outside in the warmer weather. Overall, I felt very enclosed due to being aware of living above and attached to the garage, the very close proximity of the main property and keeping the sitting room curtains closed to block out the view of the wall. There is plenty of private parking space at the property but guests are not allowed to use it. The owners use it for their vans. There is public parking in the lane just outside. I booked 6 nights and left after 4. I would not return to the property. That is just my own preference. Someone else might not have any issues with any of this.
