Positive: Very friendly staff, we hired a suite... to our surprise the shower had spa features with an excellent variety of massage jets. Family run very genuine The lady cook prepared genuine and excellent food all along Andrea was very helpful and entertaining with us and all guests. He was also our forest trail guide each morning.

Negative: NEGATIVE ONLY ABOUT SKIIING: The ski chair lifts/buttons are not operational... not the hotel fault at all. The Gambarie council and government must do something about this asap. It's a shame!

Positive: The hotel is lovely, beautifully located to explore Gambarie and its surroundings. Rosalba is fantastic, extremely helpful and gentle. Rosalba's dishes were so good! We had a great delicious dinner and a plentiful tasty breakfast. The hotel's swimming pool is very large, internal and very clean. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious. We liked everything!

Positive: Gambarie is a small town in Parco Nazionale dell’Aspromonte. The hotel is a 5 minute walk, from the centre of town,set in a peaceful location. The staff are customer driven, willing to create a ‘Calabrian’ experience, friendly yet remain professional. The buffet style breakfast has many options. Dinner is recommended for local choices - delicious. The service was excellent, very clean rooms ( great showers). and common areas. The big swimming pool a bonus!

Negative: Only comment is, best to have a vehicle to make the most of the area ( we were using public transport).

Positive: The hotel is in a quiet, beautiful area surrounded by amazingly peaceful walks surrounded by large trees and forests not far away for a lovely hike. The hotel itself is extremely clean and has a beautiful garden and huge indoor swimming pool which you can use to your leisure. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast and dinner options are very vast and delicious. Our room was very large and had a beautiful balcony facing the pool and garden. The bathroom was also large and equipped with a great shower. We truly didn't want to leave. We will surely be back.

Negative: There was nothing we didn't like. We loved every minute of our stay.
