Positive: The location was perfect, the walk into Burghley was lovely and literally on our doorstep. The cooking facilities were great and the whole property was really warm and cosy.

Positive: Good communication with the owner/manager. Quiet location, easy walking distance into Stamford (5 minutes?), no problems finding free parking adjacent to the property. The property is well equipped and warm. The double bed is very comfortable offering a good night's sleep. I would recommend this property to anyone visiting Stamford.

Negative: Due to the age of the property, the stairs are quite steep and caution is advised when using them. I'm not sure that the property would suit families with young children,due to the stairs.

Positive: We spent a week in this beautiful town house in Stamford. The house was spotlessly clean throughout and had all mod cons including under floor heating in the downstairs lounge, It was very warm & cosy. It's situated next to the Burghley estate, which was great for dog walks. It's also just a short walk in to the town centre and the train station is just a few minutes away which was great for exploring the area. We will be delighted to return again.

Negative: Just a couple of small niggles: The bed was a bit small and uncomfortable for us. A King size would've been preferable. Also, the towels were a bit small and old.

Positive: Great location. Clean. Parking easy and great access to Burghley park grounds. Appreciated the welcome tea,coffee wine, nice touch. Thankyou.

Negative: Bigger bed and a written information sheet with things like how to put towel rail on, bin info/collection days etc

Positive: Super location, good parking, easy walk to town centre. Tastefully decorated, quirky, cosy, well appointed 4 storey property. Some nice gifts on arrival.

Negative: Only one thing - boiler firing up overnight in the single bedroom was a little sleep disturbing. No issues other rooms.
