Positive: Nice views, breakfast was good

Negative: Shower water could have been hotter. Indoor hot tub /pool area closes down early. Staff was pretty non-existent (perhaps due to off-season)

Positive: Amazing views, beatiful bungalows. Coffee machine in the room. Great indoor pool. A real double bed and not two twin beds.

Negative: The lady at the reception was not welcoming, it felt we were bothering her. The breakfast start at 9am, this is not an acceptable time. They held a wedding and there was some noise in the evening.

Positive: The place is stunning, with a perfect view of the Douro Valley, a cute pool, and a varied and delicious breakfast. The hotel staff is wonderful—Rosa, the front desk manager, was kind and lovely.

Negative: The beds were uncomfortable, and the room was outdated. It was cold in the room, and there were no warm blankets. There was no blackout curtain, so the light came into the room with sunrise, affecting the quality of sleep. What was less pleasant was the fact that the hotel has no elevator, and we had to carry all our luggage up two floors. It wasn't easy.
