Positive: When we arrived there were building works going on inside and outside the front of the Parador. If we had known in advance we would not have stayed. However, we were offered an upgrade and the staff did all they could to help. Restaurant was lovely as we had our evening meal there on the night of our arrival. It is an experience and I would recommend a visit even for just one night. A very beautiful Parador.

Negative: As already stated we were disappointed on arrival to be greeted with heavy machinery digging up the front of the hotel and drills being used in the inside patio area. We understand that there are going to be some renovation works in the near future with the hotel being closed and we happened to stay at a time when works were already in progress. May be worth checking with the hotel before making any reservations.

Positive: The location is amazing! The views were spectacular!

Negative: The room needs a bit of TLC, especially the bathroom! Decided not to have breakfast as the service seemed chaotic.

Negative: The Coffee machine is a disaster. Not working well. Also the two different breakfast is just creating confusion. The pool service can be improved. Not enough shade area. Also the life guard is not very helpful. We had to carry the beds ourself.

Positive: We loved our stay here. An impressive building, decorated in traditional style - a true parador. Our room was quiet and comfortable and the breakfast in the beautiful hall was excellent. We parked in the hotel garage. You can walk over an iron bridge to the Old Town and the photo opportunities are endless.
