Positive: Close to the centre. Great host - helped us a lot when we arrived late. Showed us a good restaurant. It is a part of the church building so we were woken up by the bells - 🔔 funny experience

Negative: Roof window in our room was not tight so during strong winds - it was cold in the room. The fact that smoking was allowed in the building. I was woken up by the awful smell of cigarettes - how come that smokers’ rights come first. And the fact that the guests did not respect the night hours - someone was drying the hair at 12am - I could not sleep.

Negative: Andrea, the apartment manager, behaved strangely. She claimed there was a technical issue with the bathroom and tried to get me to cancel my prepaid Booking.com reservation. She said she would then accept the cancellation and offer me a bigger discount. I followed Booking.com’s instructions, and as a result, the apartment was able to host me — and all the bathrooms were functioning. Another issue was that the address listed on Booking.com was actually just an office, and they didn’t even provide the apartment number. I waited for Andrea there, but she sent me a new address — the apartment turned out to be located in a church. The place itself was spotless, but daily use is somewhat inconvenient, as most rooms only have skylight windows.

Positive: Very cool location in a Church, clean and freshly renovated rooms. The elevator is very useful.

Negative: No faucet to get water except in the bathrooms, lots of loud/fast traffic if you walk from Brignole station.
