Positive: The property is idyllic and located on the cliffside facing the beach. You could not possibly ask for a better view. The house is perfect for a couple. It is very new, perfectly equipped, comfortable and clean. There is a small taverna on the beach for souvlakis and snacks and you can walk to the small town of Stavros, but I think staying here (or on the island for that matter) without a car or boat would be challenging. There is a harbour right on the beach where you can rent day boats on for very reasonable. Contact with the property was very easy and Britta was extremely helpful welcoming us and available to answer any questions we might have. Would definitely recommend and would definitely stay here again.

Negative: It can be quite bright at night time. It is a loft style house so there are lights from the emergency exit, internet, air con, just overall outside brightness that may bother a light sleeper. May be an option to bring an eye mask.

Positive: The property is beautifully located on the road from Stavros to Polis beach. It has epic views over Polis beach, to the mountains and beyond.

Negative: It was reasonably new when we stayed so there were a few issues that still needed sorting out. Being summer, air conditioning was one. The apartment gets the hot afternoon sun so air conditioning is really required. Sadly, ours was not functioning correctly and as the weather does not cool down overnight, or get a cool sea breeze, made for some difficult nights sleep. The fans didn’t really take the edge off plus one of them made a loud noise on the high setting which probably could be easily serviced. Could do with a few more useful facilities, like functioning Aircon and some more generous sized glasses, crockery and cutlery. Would take a coffee pod machine over an air fryer but that’s just a preference 😉

Summary: Amazing position and the apartment is small but well appointed to suit a couple.

Positive: Beautiful space, clean well designed loved the outside shower and olive tree. Lovely location just perfect to walk down for a swim and cold beer at the fantastic cantina especially first thing in the morning ( for coffee not beer) and on the evenings when it became quieter; magic hour. Perfect facilities, good bed, lovely kitchen with everything you need. We absolutely loved it and would have liked to have stayed longer Air find and ceiling fans were fantastic and we needed them in the afternoon when it was hot Mornings were lovely and cool outside Sun beds great lovely towels and bathroom
