A luxury villa situated on over 2.2 ha land between Grimaud and La Garde Freinet enjoys fabulous views to the hills near St Tropez. Easy access via the private gate and ample car parking.
The villa is light, airy, spacious with pool and patio area on the south side, new built 2006 in Provencal style. All bedrooms are en-suite with own terraces that enjoys views over the beautiful countryside. The view goes as far as the Chateau and the lighthouse on Cap Camerat at distance. The lounge and dining area opens onto the terrace, pool and patio. Two of the bedrooms have also direct access from terrace onto the pool area. A local English and French speaking guardian welcomes you on your arrival (if during the day or otherwise arrange access for you).
The villa is well equipped with large lounge and dining room with fire place and terrace, a fully fitted kitchen and four comfortable bedrooms, each with own bath/shower room and terrace overlooking garden and countryside. All furniture and beds are acquired new in 2012.
There is a large garden with palm and olive trees, and views over the Medieval Castle of Grimaud. A large covered terrace with outside dining table, leads onto the 5x10 m pool and its comfortable pool side sitting group for relaxing. The house is surrounded with cork oak forest and pine trees, in a quiet rural area, yet easy access from the busy St Tropez bay area.

Summary: We had a lovely time at this villa. It’s in a great location, half way between La Garde Freinet and Grimaud. The views are stunning, looking out over the hills towards Grimaud castle. The villa is spacious and very well equipped. Nice pool area, gardens and terraces. Lizzy our host was great, very friendly and quick to respond to messages. I’d definitely recommend a stay here.

Summary: We stayed with 2 families in this house en it was a great week. Every family had its own floor. We enjoyed the Sonos systeem with music around the pool. The house is well equipped, especially the kitchen! Our host Lizzy was excellent with help and responded quickly.

Summary: It was the best vacation in a long time. The house is huge and clean. All beds perfect. A fully equipped kitchen. Everything your heart desires. The outdoor area, the pool and the view are terrific. The 3 palm trees round it off. The location of the property is great. 5 minutes to La Garde Freinet and Grimaud. Both beautiful villages. Summary: This was our third stay at Le Licorne and we enjoy it more each time we stay. The property is extremely well located with an amazing pool and views looking out to Grimaud Castle. The property is very well equipped and the perfect base for exploring the area or simply relaxing.

Summary: We had a wonderful week in La Licorne. What a great venue with good vibes. We really felt at home for one week. What a fantastic view from the terrace and especially the Chateau de Grimaud has been a beacon during the whole day, and even in the evening when the red Chateau and the million stars in the sky where in our company til 12 PM. Traditionally the garden sprinklers closed our days. The walking tour from La Licorne to the Chateau is highly recommendable. Going through roughs, vineyards, woods etc. Congratulations to the owners for creating such a spacious villa, excellent pool and garden, well facilitated!

Summary: We stayed at La Licorne for a week and enjoyed our stay very much! The villa was clean and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including a barbeque. All bedrooms had a bathroom and each bedroom had a nice view. The outside area was very private and beautiful with panoramic views of the valley and we could see the castle of Grimaud in the distance. The big table outside was perfect for having dinner in the evening and the table under the palmtree was perfect for breakfast in the sun in the morning. We did some nice hikes in the local area and it took approximately 15-20 mins to drive to a nice beach (beach Cogolin) which was perfect for families. We hope to come back!
