Positive: I am so glad that Booking.com is offering more options than just hotel rooms. This lovely home had everything (including spices!) we needed to make our own breakfast and dinner each night, then eating lunch out on our various treks to Norheimsund and beyond. Comfortable beds and gorgeous views over the lake made for a delightful respite after 3 weeks driving through Norway. We also appreciated having a washer and dryer so we could come home with clean clothes. All of the amenities of a well-loved home…cozy blankets, candles, a plethora of games…made for an enjoyable stay. Many thanks to lovely Gunnie who was so attentive to our needs and technological challenges😉

Positive: Great view, great location; very friendly and accommodating hostess; easy conversation and great tips for activities during our stay; We were there for 5 nights and only used part of the large holiday home. It was clean, tastefully furnished and everything you needed during a stay was there, including sunny weather with temperatures sometimes exceeding 30°C 😀😎 Unforgettable for us: the armchair and the view of the lake and the mountains from the large living room window, the kitchen window and of course from the terrace. We would book again.

Negative: If there's something which we believe could be improved, it would be the mattresses in the bedroom we were in, because we found that they were quite sagging.

Positive: The house is situated in a picturesque place and the surroundings are peaceful. The cottage is very well equipped, many dishes of various types are provided, so you don't have to remember to constantly wash and clean. This is comfortable especially for people coming for a short stay. In addition, the hostess took great care of us and asked if we needed anything. To visit the house, you must have a car - the nearest shop or town is few kilometers away. Hiking is possible in the area, although more attractive places require a car trip.
