Positive: This pristine home was a real find. The view from the modern, open plan living and dining area is outstanding. You could spend hours just gazing at the sea, the mountains in the distance and the boats quietly passing by. The furnishings and appliances are all modern, stylish, and top standard. The host provided exceptionally clear information about the appliances, places to visit and transport connections both electronically and also in printed form. He was also easily contactable if we had any questions and kindly sent us some ideas for activities when we had a couple of wet days. There is a delightful outside area which would probably win design awards in a contemporary garden show. The eye for detail and design is brilliant (this can also be said for the interior design of the home as well, from the lighting to the furniture to the artwork). The local buses into the centre of town are reliable quick and convenient making this a perfect location for a visit to Stavanger. We have stayed in various accommodations in both Norway and elsewhere and can honestly say that this is the best place we've ever stayed at.
