Positive: Pleasant owners and staff, room was great, very clean and very nice, with a balcony.
Negative: If you have any disabilities, walking in with your luggage and sandals or flip flops is not advised, it has rather steep walk ways in some spots. Don’t take a lot of luggage, we only use packs, so it was okay for us, just a word of warning to others. Also, we told them we were checking out at 7am, we couldn’t get out the main entrance till 9am. We could not figure out how to leave the property, we walked around looking for anyone else on the property, there were no staff or anyone to tell us where to get out. Finally, after half an hour we found an unlocked door to the street, and left. The owner said he had told a staff member to tell us how to get out in the morning, but I guess she forgot. We were talking to her at the end of the shift and she never mentioned anything.
Summary: Lovely spot, with lots of potential, very pleasant staff, good food, very clean room. Everything was great except trying

Positive: The room was "quaint". It was clean but certainly not too fancy. There are "wild" and domestic animals within the property. They made accommodations for my husband to back our small utility trlr into a more secure area than just simply street parking. We were traveling with over $2500 worth of furniture to replace what was damaged in our home from the flooding in Oct. They initially said it would be safe on the street. I said no, so they found a place for our cat and trlr.
Negative: Every where you had to walk was a steep path. I wasn't wearing proper footwear to traverse easily. I managed but with a bit of difficulty. Street parking only. When I read that, I think of all other accommodations where you park in front of your room or in the hotel parking lot. So this is a bit misleading. There was a free breakfast, but the "kitchen" didn't open until 9 a.m. We wanted to be on the road by 8 at the very latest, so we missed their free breakfast. The office also isn't open until 9 a.m.

Positive: Really unique and interesting place, loved seeing and being among the animals.
Negative: The path up to the cabin was quite steep, if you had any sort of mobility issues this is not the place for you.
Summary: Beautiful & unique spot to stay.

Positive: The rooms are nice and comfortable. The animals onsite were nice to see. Staff was nice and responded quickly when needed.
Negative: Its January and the rooms are cold no heaters available. The hot water only lasted a few minutes then went cold. They had a chimney that is just for looks did not heat at all and when booking it claimed the deluxe room had a chimney. Im a coffee drinker so I would recommend they offer a coffee maker in the room. The stairway in the entrance is a bit unstable.
Summary: The place was comfortable and the staff was very attentive at all times.

Positive: There was a slight hiccup with our stay. They were so incredibly accommodating to make sure we were happy and taken care of. We are already booked and will be returning twice next year.
Negative: Getting our luggage to the room from the street was a challenge but they were kind enough to help with that as well.
Summary: A beautiful oasis in the city!

Positive: The cabanas are full of charm and so luxurious!! The bed is super comfortable plus you can surround the bed with the gauze, open the doors and feel like you’re sleeping outside. Falling asleep to the cricket music was so relaxing. The views, especially at night were amazing. The shower was so wondrous with its outdoor feel and rainfall shower head. THE ANIMALS were my favorite part. I felt like I was on a mini safari. They are so well taken care of and the grounds were immaculate!! I’m not going to list them because they are such a pleasant and fun surprise. You won’t be disappointed and they are all so friendly. I spent hours just wondering around and sitting there watching them. The pool and hot tub were warm and super clean. After the MOST delicious meal at the food truck (actually amazingly delicious!) we relaxed by the fire and looked up at the stars. The beach is only a short 5 minute walk. It’s actually the best beach spot in the whole stretch of beach. You will love it!! If you love animals and luxurious accommodations book this place!!
Negative: Nothing!
Summary: Amazing!!
