Positive: I had a wonderful stay at Palm Beach B & B. Avalon and Rudi were absolutely lovely—so friendly and welcoming that the whole place felt wonderfully homey. Everything was spotless, and my room was extremely comfortable with everything I needed. Breakfast was superb, and Avalon’s warm hospitality made the experience even more enjoyable. Positive: Breakfast was well prepared, thoughtful and generous. Our hosts were genuinely welcoming and lovely and met our every requirement. Our accommodation was excellent. A bonus was the local kookaburras and parrots which came to get fed by Rudi in the morning - amazing experience.

Positive: Unfortunately we only had a one night stay but wished we’d had more time here. Our ensuited bedroom/balcony (with sea views through the trees) was lovely and we had use of the downstairs sitting room to read or watch television. We had an earlier start so our charming hosts offered to serve an early breakfast which was delicious. An added highlight of our delightful stay was the cockatoos, lorikeets and resident kookaburra who joined us outside on the patio for their breakfast!

Negative: We did find the entranceway a little confusing so a sign showing the way to the front door would help.

Summary: Perfect retreat.

Positive: Rudi and Avalon are the most wonderful hosts. As soon as we got there, they were so welcoming and friendly. The place is beautiful. From the bed to breakfast in the morning, exceptional. You've got to try Avalon's homemade granola and Rudi's freshly made fruit salad. The birds and watching the feeding were a highlight! A beautifully kept place. Would definitely stay again!

Positive: The setup in our ground floor unit was fantastic. The hosts were very friendly and knowledgeable. The breakfast was fresh, tasty and timely. Very comfortable! Grand house, beautiful breezes and leafy outlook.

Negative: Not really walkable being on top of the hill. Nothing the hosts can do about this - driving is the only real option to get to and from, or get the heart rate up walking up and down the bush trail :-)

Positive: If you are reading this because you are looking for somewhere in Palm Beach, your search is complete. This accommodation was excellent in every way. A large house that has been converted into a really spacious B&B, both the rooms themselves and the communal space. They could easily squeeze more rooms into this property but have instead made everything really spacious. The couple who run it live on site in a separate annex, and are at the top of their game. Loads of great little touches, and they are extremely friendly and helpful. They will even get your luggage to and from the bus as that is how many people arrive. The breakfast is excellent, classy ingredients in a brilliant setting. A beautifully green backdrop full of birds that they encourage to visit and know all about when you inevitably ask a question. They also have all the intel on the filming of Home anf Away if that is why you are visiting, however the Palm Beach area is stunning anyway. This was a solid 10 without hesitation.

Negative: The only dislike was our choice to stay one night. If you have the time then I would definitely stay a minimum of two nights in hindsight. You could do at least three no.problem as it is such a lovely area. There are enough eating options in the vicinity and their breakfast would take some getting bored of.
