Positive: We were welcomed by Sophie and her husband whom are very friendly. They recommend us where to eat and share with us local restaurants. The room was very big, it had all the ameneties and also we got free water, sparkling water and some Prosecco which was a nice touch. The breakfast was wonderful.

Positive: From the moment Sophie heard us wheeling our suitcases along the cobbled street she came out to greet us and took us into the entrance of the palazzo. Wow what a beautiful welcome. Sophie showed us through the beautiful internal walkways to the outdoor space and this area did not disappoint. The pool and outdoor space were surrounded by stone walls and there was an instant feel of tranquility. Sophie and Laurent showed us to our room on the top floor. What an amazing renovation they’ve done. The bedroom and bathroom were extremely generous in size and the king size bed was extremely comfortable. Bedding and towels were beautiful. Breakfast was served outside by the pool. My apologies, I can’t recall her name, but the lady who assists Sophie with breakfast is the most delightful person. Her smile and energy is a breath of fresh air. The breakfast itself is by far the best - the attention to detail in the table setting to the choice and variety of food on offer is exceptional.

Positive: Fantastic location as well as Host's. Really central location, in a beautifully restored Palazzo and although central very quiet. Basilica only 30 metres away, and restaurants and cafe within 100metres. Also great place to base yourself for day trips. The renovation and style is 1st class. Highly recommend

Positive: This is a beautiful, newly restored Palazzo in the center of Galatina. It is a hidden gem that is perfectly situated to walk to all the churches, restaurants and enjoy this magical city. It is extremely quiet, the views from the rooms are amazing and the breakfast was beyond my expectation. There is a peaceful outdoor space with a pool that is contained by the walls of the palazzo that felt like a sanctuary away from the outside world. Sofie and her husband have taken an old palazzo and given it life again. I would most definitely recommend staying here if you plan on coming to Galatina

Positive: Highlights: ∙ Newly renovated palazzo- elegant and beautiful in every detail ∙ Wonderful hosts— warm, generous hospitality ∙ Spacious room and bathroom, perfect mattress ∙ Pool made us never want to leave the property ∙ Historic district — walking distance to restaurants and cafés We stayed at Palazzo Galluccio during their very first summer of opening, and honestly, we feel lucky to have been among their earliest guests. This newly renovated palazzo is beautiful and elegant in every single detail. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that enormous care went into this restoration. Our original plan was to use Galatina as a home base and venture out to explore the surrounding area each day. But we ended up barely leaving. The pool, the peace, and the sheer comfort of our room kept us at the hotel and Galatina. We happily spent our days resting and unwinding right there. Galatina was also treat with the hotel’s location in the historic district. We were within walking distance of all the restaurants and cafés we could want. The room and bathroom were incredibly spacious, and the mattress was so good. Last but not least, Sophie and Laurent were exceptional hosts. They have a gift for hospitality that’s hard to put into words: generous, warm and attentive. Highly recommend, thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Positive: Palazzo Galluccio is a truly sublime place - serene, beautiful, enchanting. The owners have spared no expense to restore the stately building to its former glory and update its interiors to a refined, airy ensemble that soothes the eyes and comforts the mind. Breakfast by the pool was a delight, as was my conversation with Palazzo Galluccio's most gracious hostess, whose vision clearly shapes the house into the jewel it is and whom I thank for a wonderful stay in Galatina.
