Positive: The property is very historic and located on a hillside with spectacular views of the valley. We had a very comfortable room which was very clean and a lovely bathroom with powerful shower. The lady on reception was really helpful and supportive as we had a problem with our car. The tasting menu was delicious and incredibly tasty. All in all a terrific stopover.

Positive: Staff was very helpful, kind, and willing to offer local hiking suggestions. The room and overall Castel restoration were great. My room actually had a preserved bird's nest behind glass to make sure no birds were left homeless in the course of the renovation. High-quality materials throughout. An elevator! Vintage Cinquecento at the entrance.
