Positive: First the staff. Absolutely the most kind and caring support for their guests. We had planned to stay at this hotel for 3 days but a cycling accident interrupted our trip and resulted in emergent surgery for my husband. Our time in Cagliari was reduced to one night before our flight as surgery was done an hour away in Oristano. My husband was still in much pain, and on crutches but the staff was 100% supportive, kind, and did everything possible to help make our short stay worthwhile. The only disappointment was the restaurant being closed that night as going out to eat was not possible. We hope to return to Sardinia to complete our exploration of the island another time and this will be our first stop. A heartfelt thank you to all of the staff. It was nurturing at a time desperately needed. The history of the hotel is so well preserved yet updated. It is a lovely hotel. Our room was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. The old elevator is charming.

Negative: That we didn't get to spend more time in good health to fully experience all this beautiful hotel has to offer.

Positive: All was great 😍 hotel location, interior design, concierge staff, all was excellent. The dinner in the terrace of hotel restaurant and the view was magical. The food and service was excellent, highly recommend. It was truly the highlight of our trip to Sardinia.

Positive: Palazzo Boyl’s location is exceptional with breathtaking views across the historic city to the Marinas, ports & ocean beyond, The gym is unique with its state of the art technogym equipment set with the classic architecture lit with large chandeliers.. Breakfast is of the highest quality.. definitely returning.

Negative: The only thing I personally missed was laundry service.,although there is a serviced wash available with a short walk.
