Positive: We stayed here late January for 1 night and had an absolutely amazing experience. Although the weather was unusually cold and rainy for the season, the hosts went above and beyond to make us comfortable — providing fleecy bedding, extra duvets, and wood for the log burner, which made the evening incredibly cosy. The dinner was outstanding — delicious home-cooked food that really reflected the care and pride of this family-run business. Nothing was too much trouble for them and the hospitality felt genuinely warm and personal. The setting is something special. The night sky was incredible with clear views of the stars, and waking up to the sunrise over the mountains was breathtaking — truly one of those moments you don’t forget. If you’re looking for a peaceful, intimate place with stunning views and exceptional hosts, this is it. A very special stay that we would highly recommend.

Positive: While located in the heart of the Agafay Desert, the hotel offers full modern amenities. Aimad, his family, and the entire staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was both comfortable and truly memorable. The sunset from the hotel was simply majestic and having our welcome tea from the balcony with the Atlas mountain and desert view was the highlight of the trip.

Negative: Despite the cozy fireplace and an extra heater Aimad kindly brought to our room, the winter chill was quite unbearably cold. Again, the team did everything possible to make our experience comfortable but we visited in the colder months.

Positive: Very kind and helpful staff, a small cozy hotel with a personal touch and excellent food. The premises and rooms are beautiful, with magnificent views. However, it is incredibly cold in January. Although there are stoves in the rooms and heaters in the common areas, you really need to be prepared for the cold. The owner even gave us two extra duvets, so they really do care about their guests.

The hotel is very spacious, the views are incredible and the staff is very friendly and helpful - thank you so much for all your efforts in making our stay here memorable and very pleasant. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend staying here.

The surrounding landscape is simply breathtaking — nestled in the Agafay Desert, the view is beyond words. The restaurant service is excellent, with delicious food and a rich, high-quality breakfast. You can have dinner on the terrace overlooking the desert, in complete peace and quiet, creating a romantic and unforgettable atmosphere. The property itself is spotless, elegant, and perfectly integrated into this magical, timeless setting. If you visit Agafay, you absolutely must stay here. Excursions and tastings are also available, making the experience even more special.
