Summary: Stunning property. Beautifully designed and renovated. Unfortunately the level of detail that they gave to the building has not extended to the service provided. Mostly unattentive staff, however, it seems to be that it is ingrained culturally because it is more than just an isolated incident, it’s part of the overall experience at the hotel. There is no feeling of luxury apart from the building itself, no experience beyond the beauty of the Palace. Pool service was almost inexistent, terrace service very deficient. They seem to be very reliant on events and not very much into providing guests with an ultimate enjoyment in Getxo.

Summary: It is a very nice property. The staff at the reception were very attentive, professional and welcoming. At the bar and restaurant the food was good, but the staff there was unprofessional and with lack of manners. We didn’t expect to have this kind of bad service at the restaurant in a hotel like this one.

Summary: This was a remarkable hotel--friendly staff, terrific, serene location. I enjoyed the area very much. The spa was well maintained and perfectly sized. It was a welcome relief after traveling the previous week. Its location along the promenade was terrific--perfect for running, walking, just enjoying the vibe of Getxo. Be sure to get out to the local places to eat/drink. I would highly recommend this hotel--especially for its staff.

Summary: The hotel is an absolute gem! It is in a very safe, beautiful and elegant location with a stunning view. The staff is friendly and will bend over backwards to accommodate your needs (worthy of its 5 stars). It has a refined and modern look yet offers a wealth of culture inside through its art and food. The service is superb, the food is delicious and the beds are so comfortable. Will definitely come back.
