Positive: The rooms are clean and comfortable — that’s pretty much the only positive.

Negative: The staff experience was disappointing. It took 1.5 hours to deliver food via room service, and it was just a simple curd rice for my mom. Room service claim that they tried to call me but I never got the call. I tried to report this to operations manager but no one lifts the phone at that end. She complained about the quality, and unfortunately, she ended up vomiting later in the evening. I hope this was a one-off incident. While booking through Booking.com, it showed that breakfast was included. However, at morning breakfast bar, they told me I was on the European Plan — something I wasn’t aware of — which apparently doesn't include breakfast.now I am not sure where it went wrong. The staff clearly needs significant training, especially if this hotel is being rated as 4 stars. Also, the hotel’s phone number that appears on Google is incorrect — I even showed it to them. And the internet was very slow so the cricket match on TV was buffering most of the time :(

Positive: Excellent people, very courteous and considerate. Very good food. Everything is excellent about this property except for the location - I had to rate it 'less than excellent'. The location is actually superb - literally stone's throw from Ayodhya Dham Railway Station. The only difficulty is - Indian Railways is yet to complete the work for the exit on the south side of the railway station - I hope they complete that soon. As such, one is required to take the north-side exit and go the round-about way - It was midnight - an autorick charged me Rs.100. Daytime charges could be Rs.50. The approach road is slightly rough but manageable. I will prefer this property for all my future visits to Ayodhya.
