Positive: The manager was on the reception desk when I arrived. She gave me a lot of local information and lots of information concerning places to visit on my journey. I also got a heads up on the Estonian rail network.

Negative: Salám Paatsalu is located in a very scenic and calm location just off the Baltic sea. The accomodation is set out like one of the old ocean liners. Because it is very remote you will either need a car or motorbike to reach the nearest shop. If you arrive by walking or bicycle. BRING YOUR OWN FOOD.

Positive: The property was clean. Christel and her mother were polite and very friendly - nothing was too much trouble for them. And an added bonus there was good coffee making facilities available, with a free biscuit. Views over the bay were impressive. Would recommend.

Negative: There wasn’t anything that would have improved our stay.

Summary: Friendly and engaging owners - couldn’t have been more helpful. Worth a trip. Stunning views.
