Summary: Room condition is sub par. Permanent residents live below so food smoke fill the room everyday. Maid service bare minimum effort. The only place in town so no other option

Summary: I had a good stay, there was an issue with the roof leaking in a heavy rain storm but was dealt with promptly. I was given another room and it in no way affected the stay. The staff was friendly and accommodating and adding an additional day to my stay was not a problem.

Summary: I could not sleep. There were so many loud noises. Noisy refrigerator. Noisy neighbors. Noisy AC. I decided to cut my trip short and drive home one day early.

Summary: The outside looked nice. Once we got in the room it was a whole different story. The floors were in very poor condition. The ceiling had water stains and looked like it was falling down. The bathroom was terrible. The door would not close all the way. The water pressure was terrible. The walls were dirty and had a lot of patches. The vanity was old and the wood finish was coming off. There was no hairdryer. There was only shampoo in the room. The curtains were see through. There were dead bugs all on the window sill. There were stains on the towels. Holes in the sheets. The one bed was awful. Every time you move all the springs made a squeaking noise. The lighting was terrible. There was a sign that said ice and soda. There was an ice machine but no soda machine. The staff were very nice and friendly but that doesn't make up for the room at all!!!

Summary: Not many hotel options in this part of the Catskills and the Buena Vista served its purpose. Clean room,polite workers at check-in, easy to check out. A refrigerator and ice machine that worked, clean bathroom with soap and shampoo, and a comfortable bed. Would stay here again.
