Positive: Hot tub and sauna very relaxing,. Very hot and enjoyable. Fire place was ready made and easy to light.

Negative: Sauna switch was hard to locate on outside. Hot tub took a while for buttons to work. Bedroom was small for the legs of the bed when walking round caught my leg and have a nasty bruise. No where to walk to I.e pub for drink. Hottib and sauna switching off at 10pm

Positive: Had a wonderful stay at the owls hoot, a great couple of nights away with my girlfriend especially with having the hot tub and sauna to enjoy, there are other houses around you but it feels totally private as the garden isn't overlooked by the neighbours. Definitely recommend and would love to stay again especially as it's fairly local to me. Amazing little get away.

Positive: The entire place is immacculate and a fantastic retreat. Loved the hot tub it was so great to relax. Its private and secluded, it was perfect.

Positive: The draw to the property was the hot tub, sauna and the great reviews. We had a pleasant retreat at Owls Hoot .

Negative: We were a bit disappointed with the cleanliness of the place. There was black mould in the bathroom, raw plugs/holes exposed in the walls in the bedroom and could smell a dog had been in previously and there was still animal hair around the place. Another downside with that the sauna has multiple gaps in it where the wood has warped so a bit of a breezy sauna and couldn't keep/get up to a good temperature. Just felt it was lacking attention to detail and a bit dated inside.

Summary: Good but not as amazing as everyone thinks it is

Positive: Location, bed, breakfast bar, wood burner, washing machine and tumble dryer ... John was incredibly helpful when we had problems during our stay and did a lot to rectify them

Negative: Cleanliness of hot tub and decking. No hot tub operating instructions. Black mold in shower. Loose shelf in bedroom. At least 3 bulbs not working. The emergency numbers we were given for Rob didn't work at all.

Summary: Cosy cottage in peaceful and secluded spot. John was on call and helpful when needed.

Positive: Hot tub and sauna made it extra special and very relaxing! Hosts went above to make our stay extra special. They arranged a masseuse come to the property which meant we enjoyed more relaxation in our home comfort. We loved that it wad dog friendly with dog friendly pubs/restaurants locally.

Negative: Unfortunately we could not have the private chef that was arranged but that was nothing out of anyone's control. Communication with this was brilliant and returned our deposit the same day. There wasn't anything we didn't like!
