Summary: Location was nice PUB WAS CLOSED AND NO ONE TOLD US. Toilet didn’t flush, torches didn’t work, couldn’t sit outside the nettles were too long. Had to drive to Deddington for dinner and breakfast.

Summary: The shepherds hut was cosy, comfortable and peaceful. A perfect getaway for couples. Equipped with what we needed for a one night stay. Despite the fact there is no tv in the accommodation, it was nice to spend the evening without it. Will definitely consider returning

Summary: This is our second stay in the hutt and it’s now our favourite special place. The hutt is always immaculate and cosy. The log burner was great had plenty to keep going. The food in the pub is to die for, can’t fault the food every time it’s perfect very talented chef. So welcoming at the pub also staff are so friendly lovely and helpful.

Summary: Cleanliness of facilities, staff service, food, all made for a most enjoyable weekend. Shepherds Hut was delightful, campsite and toilet facilities were clean. Food was freshly prepared by their chef, and on both evenings we dined the tables were fully booked. Sensational food.

Summary: Shepherds hut was awesome in the countryside nice quiet and the most polite people I have found for a very long time all very reasonably priced will be making a return visit very soon for more than one night
