Positive: It is a unique experience of hospitality in a small village. The house belongs to a wonderful couple — Donna Marie and George — who have been together for 56 years and still look full of energy and joy together, creating the same atmosphere in the house. Surrounded by calming countryside, this place can serve as a nice weekend destination for those who live in Cyprus cities, as was our case. It is also worth visiting for those interested in local cuisine — I recommend ordering dinner at the place (better to request it in advance), as it is tasty and represents Cypriot cuisine very well.

Positive: The place was amazing, the hosts, Donna and George made it even more so with their attentiveness, great humour and amazing personalities. The 5 course dinner we had there was the best food we could have eaten. It was the perfect overall experience and quickly became a favourite place.

Positive: I just love this place! We were lucky to spend a few days in one of the most beautiful villas in Cyprus The House of Donna Marie and George, in a wonderful Vavla. That is a unique and peaceful place where you can really relax. Room was spacious and comfortable. Dona Marie is a master chef and the food she prepared was delicious (we had breakfasts and dinners). I recommend it!

Positive: The name of the place is Our House and definitely stands up to its name... It is really the house of the owners Donna and George who turned their home into a center of hospitality. Our room felt more like a cozy bedroom than a standard bed and breakfast room. The rooms are built around a central courtyard with an option to climb up onto the roof to relax opposite the beautiful view.

Negative: Parking might pose a problem when the place is full and you have to climb a rather steep accent to reach the house so it's not accessible to the handicapped.

Positive: The breakfast was amazing with an excellent choice including a variety of freshly cooked food. The location is beautiful and peaceful. The views from Our House are amazing and the whole ambience of Vavla is one of architectural interest, peace and tranquility. There is a good Taverna in the village serving fabulous Cypriot food!! Having spent 9 days at Our House I would definately recommend to freinds and family.

Negative: I would say that it is not the place for people with walking difficulties or without a car. Having said that its easy enough to hire a car.

Summary: A truly wonderful experience with a lovely couple.
