Positive: Absolutely fantastic stay! Teemu is a fantastic host and a superb person to get to know to. The loft house is a unique find in Finland. Slept like a baby, had great laughs and conversations and overall just enjoyed my stay. Went to check a public sauna that happens to be just next to the loft, what a great experience that was too. I now know where to return to whenever I need to make a stop in Oulu! Thank you!

Positive: A very impressive place in an interesting location near a river with a small (available) beach not 100 yards away. There was no breakfast. I wasn't aware any was offered. The kitchen was front and center in this loft space. I enjoyed sitting at a table with the owner and talking about this and that - and fairly wide ranging in nature. Most (?) places 'show no faces'. The architecture/construction of the home was a treat to see and contemplate.

Negative: Can't think of anything.

Positive: Very special and modern but still very cozy place! I walked along the river from the city center (about 40 minutes). River right in front of the house to go for a swim. Teemu was very kind and helped with everything!

Positive: Nice place, the owner made every effort to ensure my stay was good. The house has a story which I'll leave him to tell you. I had the basement room, which had access to the shower area/toilet, garden, and the river.

Negative: Can't think of anything.

Negative: It was like staying in a quiet church.. It's not really a deal breaker. It's just so quiet that you were afraid to do anything in the room. The big thing that I didn't care for was trying to get into the place. I knocked for about 10 minutes. Then I walked around the back to see if there was another entrance. Nope, so I had to go back to the door and once again ring the doorbell over and over and knock. Finally he opened the door like it was no big deal.. I just booked the place, and he knew that I was on my way.. Might not sound like a big deal. But when you have been on a motorcycle in the rain all day hassles like that, does mean more..
