Positive: Everything was absolutely perfect: the shuttle service from Izumi to the villa, the warm welcome, the peace and serenity of the place, the authentic Japanese architecture, the carefully designed garden, the comfortable bedding, the spacious room, the luxurious high-tech amenities, the cleanliness, the bath with a beautiful garden view, the stunning surrounding landscapes, the cultural aspect with nearby temples, the electric bikes available for lovely rides, the delicious hot pot dinner and beautifully served breakfasts, the kimonos provided (which made our photos even more special), and the thoughtful gifts we received when leaving. Every detail was impeccable in this magical place. The icing on the cake was the kindness and attentiveness of the staff, which made our stay even more enjoyable and unforgettable! My husband speaks a bit of Mandarin and was able to chat with the staff, it was such a warm exchange. Thank you all for making our stay so amazing ! I wholeheartedly recommend this magical place 1000% We’ll definitely be back :)

Positive: The room was clean, fairly big, and the staff were very welcoming.

Negative: It was significantly more expensive than expected for the quality of the experience/room. We were hosted in a separate, service(??) building, where cicadas kept falling on our heads every time we left the room. The room itself was made with very cheap materials. The breakfast was decent, but very basic and overall bland. And I was surprised there was no dedicated parking! I had to park by the wall of the property, and I worried whether this was even legal in Japan. Overall, it felt just a little 'off' as an experience for the money we paid.

Positive: The property was well managed. Service and food were wonderful. We got some nice Japanese whiskey and plum sake at the night. Property also provided free e-bikes rental and we explored a nice small village near by and had a comfortable countryside lunch. Property also provided convenient shuttle service that sent me to and pick me from the nearby train station as I did a day trip to the nearby Koyasan area.

Negative: The property is a slightly away from the train stations or supermarkets. So you have to either rely on its shuttle service or drive your own car.

Positive: Very beautiful and quiet place with friendly staff. Would highly recommend! Very clean bathroom, and comfortable beds. We had a very rainy day, but it was still nice to stay in the little house.

Negative: Altho breakfast was made with care and looked beautiful, it wasn't our thing. A bit too local to us for the early morning.
