Positive: The hostess, Sra. Gabriela I think, was very warm and welcoming. She showed me around the house. The front garden was well kept. The small house-room built there, gives it a nice touch and convenience for anyone who wants more privacy. The decorations inside were unique.

Negative: The neighboring dogs started barking loudly around 2 am. 30 minutes later, the house dogs joined in. All that lasted until about 2:50, then they were quiet for about 20 minutes when they began again for another 20 minutes. The road in front of the house is not paved and it gets muddy with the rain.

Positive: I had a short and comfortable stay at Otorongo. The owners are incredibly kind and easygoing. The property is a spacious oasis complete with a few wandering pets! The communal kitchen and washing machine was a huge plus. The one and only downside was the proximity to daily loud music from next door. It may be a restaurant. Otherwise a very pleasant stay.
