Positive: Oro Valley Nice property but could be an exceptional property with some TLC. Stayed at this vacation home for 6 nights. Good location and peaceful area. Nicely decorated with lovely furniture. Beautiful sunset and mountain views from the rooftop deck area. Comfy accommodations (very comfy bed, pillows and nice linens). Had the best sleeps there. Ample towels provided (but not one hook to hang any towels in bathroom, however). Soap and shampoos provided, if needed, but missing a hairdryer. Lots of outdoor seating, both in shade and in the sun. Wifi is strong but it was struggling streaming on the TV. The kitchen was stocked well with dishes and glassware but lacked enough cutlery and pots and pans (only 1 frypan and 1 large pot). Lots of bake-wear, however. The kitchen had basic spices and some condiments left in the fridge. The owners lived on the property in a separate house. We only saw them a couple times outside, briefly, so we were left pretty much to ourselves. Emily was very responsive via text if we had any questions. The property could go from a 7 to a 10+ if some extra attention given to the above factors. Despite what was mentioned above, we did have a restful and enjoyable time.

Negative: A $200 cleaning fee is charged but there was cleaning that was overlooked. The kitchen could use a deep clean. Kitchen cupboards had residue inside the cabinets and drawers inside need wiping down. Closets need straightening up. The outside seating area could be cleaned more thoroughly (chairs wiped down, sand swept from the patio and outdoor rug, which needs replacing). Quite frustrated with the dirty sand we had to walk through to get to the door. It tracked inside the house and into our car and most annoying in our shoes. Suggestion: lay a crushed stone pathway which would eliminate the sand problem. The barbecue was left dirty and we cleaned it prior to using. The pool was cold despite there being a solar blanket which could have been used to cover but wasn’t. (We certainly weren’t going to pay $70 a day to heat the pool).

Positive: Great location, quiet and relaxing.

Negative: There's something wrong with the bedroom air conditioner, it is very noisy. There was dried toothpaste on the back of the bathroom door, a chapstick and items on floor in bathroom. It needs to be deep cleaned, not just surface cleaned after each stay. There was only 1 roll of toilet paper & partial roll of paper towel, I had to buy paper items. The patio furniture on the upper deck is very tattered & needs to be replaced. Very minor issues and our over all experience was good. Oh & a extremely loud metal gate that needs regular treatment with W-D 40.

Negative: there wasn’t any paper products and we ended up having to buy our own tp and paper towels. the coffee machine didn’t work.

Positive: This “villa” is the jewel! It is quiet, close to restaurants, grocery stores, and shopping. You have great views from the patio and the rooftop of the Catalina Mountains. We even grilled burgers one night! The villa is roomy, light and airy, bed is very comfortable, and has a full kitchen. There was not a thing we were lacking!
