Positive: Loved our room decor! Very comfortable, clean, spacious, good price, and the cat! We are cat lovers and the resident cat OPang was the best kitty. So friendly and even came into our room to cuddle and play with us when we invited him in! The cat was the highlight of our stay. The staff were very kind, thoughtful, and respectful. Shoutout to the young Japanese male staff (I forgot his name) for making it a very comfortable and homelike stay for us!

Positive: love the location and the resident cat!! it's our second time staying across a few years apart, and the level of cleanliness in the common toilets and shower has been acceptable. i also really appreciate the ventilation/dehumidifier fan in the common shower they provide, but it really depends on the guests to take the initiative to turn it on. we also enjoyed discovering new-to-us music via the records in our room.

Negative: i really wish there were proper hanging hooks or rails for towels and clothes in the common shower room.

Positive: Opan was the best host, assisted by the best hooman staff Yujin. The bedroom was cozy with a unique vibe, and the bathroom and shower were exceptionally clean. The different scent chosen for different spaces were pleasant and relaxing. Location was great for exploring the area on feet.

Negative: We wished Opan could stay with us longer (he seemed to feel obligated to check on every guest). Sound from the street was inevitable but the provided ear plugs did the job, so sleeping was not a problem at all.

Positive: Located in the old building, the hotel is charming. Rooms are designed beautifully with nice aromas everywhere (bathroom and the room). Bed was comfy and I liked having a cat popping in to say hi. Our room didn't have a window but it was manageable.

Negative: I was really looking forward to staying at this place, but left feeling tired from the lack of sleep and just feeling a little annoyed. Very poor sound insulation. Each floor has two rooms - one like the one we stayed in no window but has a private bathroom, but the other room had a window, with bathroom located along the hall. For the 3 nights we stayed there we had the wost sleep as people next door were either up late and kept using the bathroom and slamming the doors (doors are heavy and squicky), or were up at a very very early hour and playing music and also walking to the bathroom multiple times. It was annoying but unavoidable for people next door due to the design of the space. Also stairs are a bit awkward to navigate with heavy bags. And yes they do say that someone at the reception can help but there is a person available during limited time only, so if you are checking in before 11 there is noone fo assist.
