Positive: Our stay at Original Backpackers Seoul was absolutely fantastic. The hostel had everything we needed: a fully equipped kitchen, a simple but sufficient breakfast, and even free ramen in the evenings, which was a lovely touch. The location is very convenient, with shops, food stalls, and a bank nearby, plus a metro station within walking distance that makes it easy to explore all of Seoul. There is also a direct bus connection from Incheon International Airport. The rooms were clean, well-ventilated, and quiet, and the shower was excellent. A real highlight is the rooftop terrace—perfect for relaxing in the sun. What truly made our stay special were the incredibly kind and helpful hosts, who even assist with luggage despite the steep entrance stairs. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed—not a party hostel, but a place where you can genuinely connect with others. We arrived as strangers and left as friends. We felt very welcome throughout our stay and would definitely come back. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Seoul!

Positive: I have stayed in countless hostels over the past ten years. This one is probably the best. The facilities are just amazing with a comfy dorm, good size lockers, incredibly clean and luxurious bathrooms, a great kitchen and a roof terrace overlooking the city. Breakfast was perfect with DIY eggs, toast with jams and butter, a choice of cereals, and coffee, tea and juice. The owners are so welcoming and helpful, sharing tips for the city, helping to move our stuff when we were out and changing our towels and sheets. It's like staying in a hotel and in an ideal location, right next to the metro and close to convenience stores, restaurants and the city walls. I highly recommend this amazing hostel and really hope to return some day.

Positive: The hostel is exceptionally clean and the amenities are great. I especially like the showers - the best hostel showers I've ever used, hands down. Check in and check out are easy, and the hostel owners are super communicative, friendly and ready to help. The kitchen area is clean and has everything you need, and the beds are very comfortable. This was my second time staying here and I will definitely be back again. :)

Positive: Would like to gatekeep this Hostel. It has been the best equipped and easiest Hostel to stay in for several nights, didn’t need to ask for a single thing cause everything is very easy available to you. Free washer, dryer, coffee, earplugs, heated toilet and even has hairbrushes and hairties! Very clean and the duvet and pillows were more comfy than the one I have at home. We got daily messages with recommendations of what to do and what to see. Every single part of this hostel is very thought through!

Negative: Every district of Seoul offers different vibes, and here wasn’t my personal favourite area. But super easy to commute, so will for sure stay here next time as well.

Managers were very friendly and always available to help and helped me with a lot of things (and recommendations for places and events in Seoul were fantastic)! Great location (close to the station) and everything was so clean. The atmosphere was very cosy and welcoming. Highly recommend!
