Positive: Pick up service was good but at 2.40pm and not 1.40pm

Negative: Despite paying Yen 23,800 for a double room. The room 302 was block by the hotel dome. So can't see anything at all. Tried to change room to same level but different side but was turned down and offered a higher floor room with extra Yen 3,000 charge. Very disappointed. The onsen was not natural and price was very high compared to Hagashiyama hotel next to it at Yen 9,100 next door. Hagashiyama hotel is definitely value for money compared to Onyado Toho

Positive: The place was clean and beautiful. Staff were all friendly. The foods were great, except a few suggestions. The bath was great.

Negative: Still loved everything, but some foods can improve more. I.e. quality of the noodles, more choices of pickled vegetables,

Negative: The carpark for guest is faraway due to renovation to existing carpark, causing inconvenience for unnecessary transfer provided by hotel. The tatami room has inadequate space to put luggage’s.

Positive: The reception rooms and lounges were large and comfortably furnished with free coffee for guests. The location was excellent for exploring the city and there was a lovely mountain road behind the hotel leading up to the peak through lush forests. The highlight was the fabulous hot and cold food provided at the expansive buffet at breakfast and dinner. The quality and selections were outstanding. The dining room also had a wonderful view over the city and the valley below.
