Positive: The breakfast was lovely both in presentation and taste. The owners were very accommodating as I had to leave early in the morning and had my breakfast ready earlier than they usually serve the meal. The bath facilities provided multiple amenities . The location of the ryokan is very picturesque ; lush forest surrounding the small town .

Positive: I was very happy to have a true Japanese experience! The surroundings were a beautiful wintery scene. The staff made us feel very much at home. The onsen was wonderful!

Negative: I was very cold. There were less than 10 guests in the hotel, so the heat was only on in our room and the dining room. The place is large.

Positive: Breakfast was great and very helpful owners. The onsen offered has ability for private use with very little fuss about booking. Would highly recommend!

Negative: There was no air conditioning. Not that it needed in our stay though. There was heating. Wifi not available in the rooms.
