Positive: The luxury and abundance of the nature that surrounds the hotel, along with the exquisite services and experience.

Negative: The maintenance of the cabin could be better and the mosquitoes have their special way during certain hours.

Positive: The little houses had a lot of privacy, I loved the outdoor shower. Staff was friendly and helped us plan some nice activities.

Negative: Food was a bit heavy and also expensive, and it would have been great if some of the staff spoke English. Unfortunately we couldn’t really communicate with them because we don’t speak Spanish well enough.

Summary: Great stay in the middle of the jungle.

Positive: Beautiful location, beautiful part of the river and jungle. Very sweet and friendly staff

Negative: No choice of food. After checking dietary allergies or vegetarian etc - a plate of food was prepared for me with no options for breakfast, lunch and supper. No menu. It’s a moto bike ride into town to get any snacks or alternatives. So odd. No WiFi outside the communal area. The hotel communicates with guests through what’s app which is fine for local guests but no good for foreign travels. My room was a good 5 minute walk away through forest so when the water was out for a day or room got infested by hundreds of large biting beasties or needing drinking water - no WiFi or communication was a pain. The whole week and experience was wildly overpriced

Positive: This place is a peaceful realm, full of nature. The surroundings are spectacular. The river with clear waters, the small beach, the constant wind, all invite you to rest and relax. Edwin, Edilberto and all the staff were present at all times, alert to anything we might need. What a great service. Nidia and their team at the "spa" were great. Nidia is a skilled massage therapist. Great work on my legs and back! The casa de vapor experience was OUT of this world. We love steam baths and sauna, but the temazcal stands apart. Whoever likes steam baths and or sauna must try this one. It is by the river so you can go straight to it and cool off. Food was really good. It took a while for us to get what we ordered, but it was worthwhile. Fresh natural flavors in every dish. The room was good as well. It was a big king kiosk, with the rest room on one side. The shower had no ceiling, and there was HOT water. Cool indeed.

Negative: All was perfect. The price maybe is somewhat high, but I believe this is the strategy to make ONE santuario an exclusive experience.

Positive: The hotel was beautiful, food was amazing and staff were very kind.

Negative: Service has room for improvement. Response times were very slow and more than once they forgot our orders.
