Summary: The first thing that my grandson wanted to see was the pond and we were disappointed it was so far away from the house but the first time Symon saw the pond there were all kinds horse flies and green stuff on the water. So we spent the next day at governor dodge state Park WONDERFUL TIME . The next day we went to House on the Rock Great! Came home and rested Ava and I went back to gov. Dodge and hiked the waterfall trail and the my husband and the boys put bug spray for flies and drove down to the pond to fish much better the pond was clear. We couldn’t get the micro wave to work you should check that could have been us. It’s one of the most beautiful parts of our state and being with our grandchildren it was wonderful weekend

Summary: Wonderful get away property. The surrounding land is surreal. The house has everything one would need and more. It's clean, spacious and calming. Our group of Dads spend a wonderful weekend there.

Summary: Our family of four had a relaxing vacation. Beautiful views from the many windowed home. We saw deer, birds and butterflies. Spent a few days relaxing. Tubing in Wisconsin river, a day at House on the Rock, golfing, and shopping in Spring Green.

Summary: We rented the property for a weekend reunion for eight people (although we ended up with only six). The house was clean and spacious with decor that complemented its prairie setting. There were only two real beds and one sofa sleeper so we needed to bring several inflatable beds. The house did have two twin foam mattresses available, but they didn't have a lot of support so we used our own inflatable beds that we brought. The property owner made sure to contact us ahead of time to describe the sleeping situation more completely. The greater property was the biggest pleasure with acres of meadow lush with milkweed for butterflies and birds and a big patio for relaxing and enjoying it all. It was very close to Taliesen, American Players Theater, House on the Rock and Governor Dodge State Park.
