Positive: Such a beautiful place!! The premise is relaxing and inviting, breakfast and dinner alike where the best and most traditional I had in Indonesia. But the best by far is the hospitality and warmth with which Zanzan and Putu welcome their guests or should I say friends:)

The owners, Zanzan, Putu, and their wonderful team are incredible people who made sure we had everything we needed. The excursions to nearby waterfalls and rice fields were fascinating and our children enjoyed them just as much as we did. A genuine purification ritual crowned the whole experience, making our stay unforgettable. The food is excellent, prepared from local ingredients and served generously. If you are looking for real contact with Bali – its nature, local people, and culture – Omunity Bali is the right choice.

Positive: This place is truly magical for animal lovers and anyone seeking an authentic Balinese experience. From the moment you arrive, you’ll be treated like family. Zanzan is an incredible host who goes above and beyond to make things happen—sometimes even before you think to ask. As a solo traveler, sharing meals with everyone was one of the highlights of my stay. The laughter, the fresh flowers on the dining table, and the sense of community made me feel warm and never lonely. And the food—oh, the food! It’s hands down the best vegetarian cuisine I’ve ever had. I stayed for seven nights and ate every single meal here, and I was blown away by the care and skill of the amazing ladies who prepared them. Every activity I joined was thoughtfully organized and absolutely fantastic. Throughout my stay, I felt safe, cared for, and completely at ease. I left with a full heart and so many beautiful memories, and I can’t wait to come back someday.

Negative: There is no AC unit so it could be a little hot around noon. but all the trees make the place cool overall.

Positive: Staying at Omunity was such an unexpected and wonderful surprise. We booked last minute mainly for the location, since we wanted to explore the area the next day. But the experience was so good that we ended up staying longer. Zanzan, the owner, is a truly special human being who makes the stay feel like living in a community. We connected with other guests, and sharing breakfast, lunch, and dinner all together at a big table created such a beautiful and meaningful exchange. The place itself is stunning, surrounded by lush nature and ancient, legendary trees. It was an unforgettable and very rewarding experience to stay there. Highly recommended!

Zanzan is an incredible host who puts his whole heart into making your stay unforgettable. There are plenty of activities you can book during your time there and he will gladly help with everything you might need. The delicious breakfasts and dinners were a wonderful experience, always beginning with a beautiful moment of prayer and gratitude. We cherished our conversations with Zanzan and were deeply touched by his big heart for the Earth, the local community and animals. This is the perfect place if you want to learn more about Balinese culture and beliefs. As an animal lover I found this place even more special - far beyond what I could have imagined. Staying here has truly been the highlight of our time in Bali. Thank you, Zanzan, and the whole Omunity team, for your kindness and warmth.
