Summary: I could talk about the convenience of the location, having a good restaurant and bar in the hotel, and views from our room. But what I noticed most (and my husband agrees) is the warm and professional staff—from reception, to restaurant staff, to every housekeeping person we interacted with. This hotel is clearly well managed and staff are hired and/or trained for genuine hospitality. I highly recommend the Chicago Michigan Avenue Omni to others.

Summary: The location was stellar. The room itself had long hairs all on the restroom but since we got in at 2am. I didnt have it in me to complain. The space is slightly outdated.

Summary: We came up to the hotel because my daughter was having surgery at a nearby hospital. Javier & Richard we're amazing at the valet in front of the hotel. Javier took care of all of our needs even brought the luggage up to our room upon check in. Stephen took Amazing care of our family during our stay. We had to extend from one night to two, and even being sold out, they still found a way to accommodate our needs. Keith went through an itemized bill upon checkout. I cannot wait to visit this property in the future. A bonus, it's right over the harry potter store and has endless choices for shopping and food.

Summary: While amenities and being up to date are important, my main focus for a hotel is it’s cleanliness and how comfortable is the bed since I’ve stayed many places that while nice, if the bed is uncomfortable can ruin your stay. Our room at Omni was clean and comfortable. There were a few things that looked a little tired and could use updating but overall we had a good sleep and were refreshed for the next day.

Summary: Great location and a friendly staff made this a great experience. The rooms are very nice, but a little dated, which made it feel a little less clean. The staff was amazing, especially the doorman/bellman, Ham. He went out of his way help everytime we arrived or departed, he asked how our day was and offered directions. I really can’t speak highly enough of him. We didn’t utilize the restaurant while there, but I did visit the bar and they had an excellent selection of high end bourbons.

Summary: Great experience but should take off pools as an aminety cause they do NOT have a pool which is one of the big reasons I booked with this hotel only to get there, and find out they don’t have one.
